🪻 God meets us in our grief, restores what has been broken, and comforts us with His unfailing love.

📖Scripture
2 Corinthians 1:3–4 (NIV)
“The God of all comfort… comforts us in all our troubles.”
✨Devotional Thought
Grief changes people. Whether it comes through death, heartbreak, betrayal, disappointment, illness, or the loss of a dream, grief leaves behind an ache that words often cannot explain. But God never abandons us in sorrow. There are moments in life when the house becomes quiet, the visitors leave, and we are left alone with our thoughts and pain. Yet even there, God sits beside us. He remains present in hospital rooms, funeral homes, lonely bedrooms, strained marriages, and seasons of emotional exhaustion. Scripture reminds us that grief is not weakness. Jesus wept. David mourned. Mary cried out in heartbreak. God understands sorrow intimately. Healing from grief is not about “moving on” quickly. It is about allowing God to slowly rebuild what pain tried to destroy. Over time, He transforms sorrow into strength, wisdom, compassion, and deeper dependence on Him. The brokenhearted are never forgotten by God.
✍🏽Challenge
Write a letter to God about a loss, disappointment, or grief you still carry. Be honest. Allow yourself to release emotions you may have been holding inside.
🙏🏽Prayer
Father, comfort every broken place within me. Sit with me in my grief and remind me that I am never alone. Restore my heart gently and help me trust You with the rebuilding process. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
